we get them in the yarn sometimes, I never thought to eat them (I just check and chase the little ones with a broom.... I leave the big ones alone :scratch

Well, it's illegal to catch them and kill them yourself. You have to buy them from a reputable place... My parents get it from gatorama (http://www.gatorama.com/)

that makes sense!
They don't look very easy to catch to me (they are just sitting in the pond , or chasing golfers off the course here :), but farming them makes sense--I am curious to know what you make, and how it is:)

Does the package offer recipes to get you started? Just curious if it is more meat-like or fish-like....

It is kind of like steak, but w/the constincy(sp?) of chicken. It's nummy... the gatorama website has recipes, so I'll try that..
