Help me grow my seeds!

I'm planning on growing my herb garden from scratch this year, from organic, non-GMO seeds. It's starting to get warm in the daytime here, warm enough that I could set my seeds out to germinate on the porch during the day. When should I do this? And how? I feel so green! :giggle

Find out your last frost day (google your county extension office), then check the seed packages for when you can set them out as transplants or seeds and count back from that. Hope that makes sense. :think

We have only put seeds out in the garden and we haven't had much luck with herb seeds, but I have a Gardening From Seed book by Martha Stewart that I can bring Friday for you to borrow if you would like.
