I haven't tried this yet but it looks pretty cool. Basically you get points for chores, like the challenges here, but it's made into a role playing game adventure type thing. Very cute! :)

I registered but when i try to sign in - it says that either the password or username is wrong. its clearly the same as i put in! Ive only just don it - im not loosing THAT many marbles. Ive asked for email reminder and checked junk mail and nothing... anyone else managed to get in?

I did read that you can have more than one DM, so it doesn't have to rest on just one person. I know I am not that great at managing things, so I am not the person to start it. :no Also if someone does set it up, it would be good if everyone can add chores since it would need to be able to be tailored to individual households.

My only wish is that they had a few more pleasant looking characters to choose from. There are too many gruesome or scary looking ones.

Thanks so much for starting this. I have quite a mountain of laundry to do and this has been just the thing to get me going on the wash. I have done 3 1/2 loads so far and I am only about 1/2 way done. :O

I was thinking there should be a picking up adventure in 5 point increments. I do that like 5 times a day but it's usually a very short job.

That would be nice! I would also love to see one for cleaning the counters and the stove, or the kitchen in general just like the bathrooms. Also, maybe one for sweeping other floors. I don't have carpeting in the main living areas.

Strength is used for chores which involve considerable physical exertion, such as scrubbing floors or taking the bins out.

Constitution is used for physical chores which tend to take a long time, such as gardening or vacuuming.

Dexterity is for lighter chores which require precision manual work, such as dusting or washing up.

Charisma covers chores requiring interaction with non-player characters outside of the party, such as phoning an insurance company or ordering a pizza.

Intelligence is for chores that require specific knowledge, such as paying bills or changing a fuse.

Wisdom is used in chores that use the inventive application of knowledge, or general creativity, such as decorating or improvised repair work.

XP is for Experience points.

As you do tasks, you gain points in those areas above if the task you do has that area in it. There are symbols next to each adventure that reference those areas.
