How to care for a leather couch

We've had our leather couch for a year & a half, and I'm noticing that it's looking dry in one area. I never did figure out how to care for it when I bought it...can you give me the basics, from cleaning spots to general care. Thanks!

Buy a leather cleaner detergent and more importantly - a leather conditioner. After wiping it down/cleaning it, you just rub the conditioner on it and let it soak in a bit and then wipe it dry. The conditioner does wonders - making it look new.

Most furniture stores that sell leather furniture sell the products as well. We bought ours at the furniture store years ago, and are still on the same bottle since you don't need to use very much or very often. I'm sure you could find some online too.

Thanks! When I did a search, all I got was products so I wasn't sure what to do. I'll have to look for some leather conditioner!
