HELP! my house smells like skunk!!!!

last night my dog scared a skunk under our front porch. :sick It missed the dog, but my house smelled so bad last night 2 of the kids vomited (like I needed more smells! :crazy2 ). The weather isn't took cold at the minute, so we kept the windows and doors open for an hour. It helped, but not enough, AND the basement still smells as bad as last night and I don't have any windows down there to air it out. I just got back from town and it still STINKS in here. :hissyfit

I am expecting company tomorrow, so I desperately need an strong, quick fix.

Any suggestions? :help

oil of wintergreen is the best for skunk stench.

Get a big ole bottle of it at a pharmacy, then put it everywhere the smell is prominent.
