one is chocolate and the other is tomato sauce, and its not coming out, I have washed in cold, treated stain, washed again and they're still there. should I wash in hot? I am totally skittish about washing in hot, I don't dry a gosh darn thing for fear of setting stains, so I don't even wash in hot. :nails
advice anyone?

Do you use oxyclean or some type of oxygenated cleaner? I have used oxyclean with boiling water in the kitchen sink with great success! :yes

Also lemon juice and sitting the item in the sun. (Might be a bit hard this time of year! :giggle )

Zout stain remover (http://www.dialcorp.com/index.cfm?page_id=44) Seriously the miracle stain-remover, even set-in chocolate and spaghetti stains. It's a little over $2 at Fred Meyer. :tu

Yes wash it is the hottest water you can that is safe for the fabric. But the dryer will set the stain.

If it is white, why not use a bleach pen on the stain.
