I have a blanket... it's furry on one side, suede-ish on the other and covered in baby vomit. I cut the tag off when I got it so I'm left wondering... how do I clean it?

how devastated would you be if it was ruined?

if it were me, I'd throw it in the wash on gentle. I figure it's pretty much not usable full of vomit, so I can't really get worse. :shrug And on gentle you should be fine.

But if you'd be devastated if something happened, you could try something else first.

I would hand wash it with a sponge and a mild laundry soap/detergent. I would use minimal amounts of water, you know? Don't soak it. And let it air dry.

That's my opinion. :-)

It is my absolute favourite throw blanket, warm x infinity. And it's a wedding present from a good friend. I think I'll go with the hand washing.

:hug Thanks ladies.

sounds like one we have....unfortunately mine has no tags either.....ive always just washed it in the machine, the fuzzy side isn't so pretty anymore but i dunno if that's cause of the way its been washed or just that it's been washed, kwim?
