OK, so I really wanted one last night, but no steak to use. Sooo, I took some left over ground beef. Oh and sorry, I don't measure, just go by smell.
Browned the ground beef
sauteed some onions
mixed them together and put in some pepper relish (don't know what you call it but we got it in PA)
a touch of worchestershire sauce and some garlic powder
Took some bread, put on some mayo, put some of the mix on it and some cheese. VIOLA poor man's cheese steak.
Ok so if you think it is gross, sorry, but I really wanted to eat something with onions, and that is what I came up with.
