I have some pork chops that I'd like to do something with in the crock-pot. Normally I do a breaded mushroom thing or grill them on the BBQ, so I thought I'd try something in the crock-pot. I've done an apple/pork thing in the crock-pot before that turned out well, but it was a pork roast, not chops. Any ideas for chops?

I did a really easy one last fall/winter. It was just pork chops, then dump a can of saurkraut over them. I can't remember how long they cooked, but it seemed like I did it in the morning around 8 or 9 and we always eat between 5:30 and 6.

I have a pork roast in the freezer for after the baby arrives, this sounds delicious can you post the recipe? (sorry to hijack your thread!)

You can crock pot, or stove top this one

For 4 or 5 chops

brown chops (with onion if you like, I don't) and drain fat
mix:
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 14 oz can crushed pineapple
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup

throw over chops in crock pot, or simmer on stove top, covered. I do it on low heat on stove top for about 1.5 hours, until totally tender.

thicken with cornstarch if needed
