They've joined forces against me!--just a small vent

My kids are driving me BONKERS!!! They have completely stopped listening to me in the last week. They put up a fight for EVERY activity--unless that activity is the pool or ice cream, but even then they find something to fight about. I am looking back at MY behavior to see if I started being too militant or mean or selfish, but I'm not seeing anything there. Maybe I talk too much to my kids. I dialogue with them about nearly every request/instruction. I'm sick of reflecting emotions and helping them through things!!! I feel like I am ALWAYS 5-stepping and I just want them to LISTEN and OBEY!!! BLAH!!

I've noticed that when that happens at my house, it's either because they are bored - or- I haven't spent enough time playing WITH them. I also try to incorporate more playful parenting. They love the tickle momster here.

Not sure if that helps. BTDT and it stinks!
