they hit each-other and laugh and stomp on each other and laugh and wrestle and laugh and bounce off the walls and laugh and do back flips and laugh (kidding.) they are so wild! every night this happens!

they are tired?
Mine do it too. I allow it for about twenty minutes while I clean up. Then we have to dial down, and I will read or something. Dd1's bedtime is close after dinner, so I really need to bring her down quickly or she will give dh a hard time.
And yes, she fights and cries sometimes, but that's calming, too.

I would think they're overtired. We do dinner just before bed so I can get them in as soon as we're done. I'd rather do a couple snacks earlier and a later dinner. :)

cool, so a later dinner! out of curiosity, what time is dinner and bedtime in your homes? it has been 6 dinner, 7 bed 4 kyle then 8 bed 4 the girls.

I always get hyper/giggly when really tired. Have since I was little.

:rolleyes2 My two do this also....only it's after bathtime. Of course, when I am the most worn out and less tolerant.

This is definately a factor in our house too. Arsenic hour isn't just for babies :O

I try to clean up as I cook and then start running the bath between dinner and dessert so that dd can get in straight away. Dinner is at 6.30 and I try to get dd into bed by 730, although when dh isn't home (most of the time) dd spends 15 minutes in bed with a book while I finish cleaning up the kitchen and bathroom.
