Have you seen the video series by John Ortberg?

The church we've been attending since we moved is doing a video series by John Ortberg called "Parents and Kids: Same Planet, Different Worlds" during the weekly gathering. Has anyone seen it? If so, would you consider it GD friendly?

Ortberg is formerly of Willow Creek Mega-church in Illinois, right? If so, I would think he is fairly GBD, though i couldn't say for certain as i have not seen the video series.

He's now in Menlo Park, which is in the Bay area of No.Cal. I don't know anything about the series, I've never heard of it. Ortberg is, overall, a fantastic teacher. I wouldn't assume it's GBD just because he's from Willow, though; while I don't remember the teaching being skewed towards punitive, I don't remember it being particularly GBD, either. I know my mom and all her friends were big on Dobson. :shrug
