I'm going to interview tomorrow to be a special ed preschool teacher. They will ask about discipline (or I should take something typed out already).
These kids will be 3 and 4, and it is only for children with special needs--no inclusion yet. However, I don't know what their abilities or needs will be.
I am wondering both how to explain and how to do grace-based discipline in the classroom. I know they may have some plans as well that I'll have to follow. I don't want to scare them by making it sound like I'm not going to do anything. Is there a non-religious explanation anywhere?
I am also wondering when you are supposed to introduce consequences.
I am going to write what I'm thinking and post it later. I don't want to lose it on here. TIA
