Does anyone have any info on a gallbladder/liver flush? I received an email today from someone seeking info. She has many many gallstones. Tomorrow she is going in to have one zapped as she said. A CT scan or some sort of scan showed many stones. She would like to do a flush to get rid of them but is concerned about pain and it getting stuck and then a trip to ER.
Anyone have anything I can share with her?
Thanks

Sadly I don't have links saved but google should get you lots of info. When I did it I found one source that suggested using a fair amount of epsom salts in addition to the olive oil (there were directions on how much and when) to relax things so nothing got stuck. I'd been having attacks every couple weeks and the u/s showed multiple small stones. The flush (with epsom salts included) was NOT fun and I was wiped out in more ways than one for a couple days but I had no problems and didn't have another attack for about 18 months. I now have a minor one every few months and I should probably repeat the flush but I'm waiting until Rosebud is over a year and not nursing as much.

I'm reviving this topic, looking for more people with experience gently flushing the gall bladder and liver.

I tried so many things. Ultimately the only thing that helped was having my gallbladder removed. Now, no more issues!

Somewhere I have a study that shows that an apple juice fast for three days followed by drinking 1Cup of olive oil is very effective. It's even an MD study. Wish I could find it, but that's those are the instructions. Pretty easy.

Can I survive on apple juice for three days? I have major blood sugar issues.

I did apple juice as MUCH as I wanted (or could put down) for 3 days but day 1 I ate vegetarian, day 2 I ate raw vegan, day 3 I fasted on the juice only from noon until bed time when I drank the juice, the flush happened in the am, day 4 I ate raw vegan, day 5....vegetarian, day 6 back to my normal diet.

I'm feeling very whiny about this. Raw vegan is something I can only afford to do in the summer. I already eat vegetarian most days.

I'm planning on doing this next week. I've done it before & it worked. I did 3 days of apples/apple juice followed by drinking 1/2 cup olive oil

If it works, do you have to keep doing it again? How often?

Simon's allergic to apples, so it's not an option for me now.
