My DH was sweet enough to buy me a new washing machine. We decided to get one of the new fancy front-loading washers. We bring the washing machine home. Dh and one of his friends haul the heavy machine down to the basement and get it all set up. We run our first load and the washing machine KA-CHUNK, KA-CHUNK, KA-CHUNK downhill toward the sump drain (our basement is very un-level). Deciding that our basement is too out of level, DH decides he is going to build a big cement platform in the basement to put the washer and dryer on. One that is level. so, 800 lbs. of cement later, Dh sets the washer back up and THEN sees that he never took out the shipping bolts in the back of the washer to stabilize the drum. :doh He took the bolts out and now, regardless of the 800 lbs of cement, the washer works perfect! Guess that was 800 lbs of cement and $35 down the drain! :no :giggle
