Conjunctivitis remedy

My ds was coming down with a case of conjunctivitis and I read to add 2 tsp of ground Tumeric to 1 cup of boiled water, and then compress 3 x a day for 2 or 3 days. Tried it and after 2 treatment it has cleared completely.
Anyone else tried this?

I just did hot water ( as hot as they can stand it) on the eyelid as many times a day as necessary.

Take soft washcloth (or papertowel).
Add hot water.
Apply with firm pressure.
Repeat often.

I've never tried the tumeric. It sounds like it would burn.

Similisan makes a homeopathic eye drop that is relatively cheap.

The biggest thing we did to cure pink eye...wash our hands often , clean out our nails , and (if an adult) get rid of all eye makeup.

Good to know there is another cure, since I have been out of breastmilk for almost 10 years.
