My best friend is pregnant :preg and I want to introduce her to AP. I want to introduce and not scare her away. :sling She already thinks I am kind of a hippie... :peace

Any ideas on good books? :read I was thinking Dr. Sears, but to be honest I haven't read a lot of others. Any good ideas?

Dr. Sears scared me when I was totally mainstream coming from using BW. Happiest Baby on the Block (Karp) was a great transition from mainstream to AP, at least for me. Also, I really liked So That's What They Are For (Tamaro) for bfing info. Again, not totally AP, but a great intro into it w/o being as "scary" for someone who had heard only bad things about AP.

I gave someone Lisa McCourt's 101 Ways to Raise a Happy Baby for the same reason. It is really low-key, easy to read, and totally AP. Very non-intimidating.

I second "The Happiest Baby on the Block" as it is also recomended by celeberties!!!
But seriously, this is the book that totally convinced me to nurture my little baby ap style ;)
