gross infection question (cat scratch)

kara got scratched really bad by our outdoor cat 2 days ago. long story short, after her bath today, 2 of the scratches (the 2 deeper ones) were very infected.. VERy. the tissue around the sores were hard. it was grody! My questions- should she see a dr? I ask because I hear cat scratches are pretty gross. and too, when a kiddo has an infection, are you supposed to leave it or squeeze it out? Yes, I'm serious, not tying to be funny at all. :no2

It wouldn't hurt to have it looked at. Do you have any tea tree oil? I would put that on it. I think you can get staff infection from a scratch that gets infection but I am not sure.

hey! I dont have any tto, but I can sure get some, and probably ought to because I keep getting it recommended to me! what all can you do w/ it? don't some even clean their floors w/ it! the stuff is good for everythign!
