sugar intake per day, can someone please tell me...

if you know a healthy limit? Or especially the amount that a toddler should take in? I've started reading cereal labels more and would like to know a good limit per day to go by with all label reading. A year ago I thought I was sheltering DS from lots of sugars, but it seems to be in so much I think I was fooling myself.

It's really not possible to set down a number. "Good" sugars go down on nutrition labels as grams of sugar, too, so it's impossible to say that he shouldn't have more than X grams per day. My ds just doesn't eat anything with refined sugars in it, but *especially* hfcs.
