This of course makes me angry and I tell him "don't jump on her, that hurts her" she starts crying.... then I pick her up and cuddle her and don't give D any extra attention for it.... is this a good idea or a bad idea?

(besides not putting her on the floor unguarded :doh )

I heard from another mom, that she calls her bouncy seat the 'safe seat' and when the baby is in there he or she can't be touched. Off limits kind of deal.

Not giving him any special or extra attention sounds like a game plan.

Sounds good to me! It communicates healthy concern for the baby's safety and keeps the focus on the hurt party. :yes2

Shes off limits when napping in the crib -- enforcing a no touch in bouncy would be more work than its worth especially since she likes it, she grins at him
