I'm going to help update our LLL group's website and I need SFTP software. I already know what editing software I'm going to use.

Anyone have any ideas? Freeware would be ideal, but I can buy something, too.

TIA

I'm assuming your editing software doesn't include it? CuteFTP is one of the most popular :shrug

I'm not sure about the non-profit status of LLL or your status as you make a webpage for them, but you may qualify for the non-profit version of Macromedia's suite, including Dreamweaver, which is definitely the way to go if you can :) It is a great editor, and the suite includes Fireworks and Flash, plus it has all of the FTP stuff built into the WYSIWYG editor (in Dreamweaver).

Are you looking for the server software or the client software?

If server . . . SecureFX.

I think there is a 30 or 60 day free trail. The server software is $60. I use it, and I have not had any trouble with it.

If client software . . . will this work?

I use a client I downloaded a long time ago from ssh.com, but they don't seem to have free personal/non-profit use version anymore. I have not used the one I linked to above.
