I bought a "Canon, power shot 600" (paid $300.00 brand new) about a year ago.
A month ago while I was trying to get a pic of my new nose ring, I dropped it. The lens jammed. I lost the reciept so I would have to pay to repair it. :banghead I called the Canon company to find out how much it would be to repair it there. They told me it wouldn't go under $120.00 but that they couldn't say how much more it would be without looking at it. I called a local camera repair shop who told me it would be $20.00 to diagnose it, if I decided to repair it there the diagnoses charge would go intot the repair cost. I'm thinking, if it goes over $50.00 I'm just going to toss it.
Is $50.00 too low or should I up it a bit?
they said it would be $145.00 to repair it. dh said "Go ahead, I'll pay for it." :heart
