View Full Version : Scrapping a babybook. Any resources for the things I should add?

I am looking for some of the milestones that a person would keep of their baby. I don't have a baby book for myself and my husband was adopted at a late age so I don't even have an example. I'm just looking for some of the things you would have wanted to remember, such as first step and first tooth, etc. Does anyone know where a comprehensive list of this stuff might be?

I would also love any of your ideas.

THanks.

Here's some firsts from Erich's baby book (not a list I compiled myself) :
Smiled
Slept through the night
Held a bottle
Rolled over
Crawled
Sat unsupported
Laughed
Stood up
Took first step w/ help
Took first step alone
Waved bye bye
Said mama or Dada
walked
held a cup
ate solid food
spoke a word
bathed in tub
dressed myself
brushed my teeth
went potty
stopped wearing diapers
drew a picture
wrote the alphabet
sang a song
made a friend
took a trip
wrote my own name
first haircut
first tooth
