Sorry if this seems like an obvious question... up until now, we have been composting only our "raw" food scraps - vegie peels, apple cores, carrot tops etc. As well as garden waste of course. But can you compost cooked food as well? Like, if I make a meal that turns out badly (who, me :shifty ), can we just put it in the compost? Sorry if this is really obvious and something you've been doing all along. The thought had just never occurred to me until now, that maybe we can put all food scraps in there.

I kmow you shouldn't composte animal products.

Yeah, you can pretty much compost any food items that aren't meat, dairy or grease.

Oh good... we are vegan so this won't be a problem! :mrgreen
