does anyone have any experience with boiling sucanat? :O I was trying to make peanut butter popcorn balls today for a snack for the kids and I used sucanat (since its what I have) and it boiled and boiled and boiled and never reached 250 :shrug so I thought it was maybe my thermometer, even though I just bought a new one because I was having difficulties before.. so we ended up with soggy popcorn :/ Im thinking its not my thermometer, its actually sucanat? why would that be? I need a science lesson ;)
