does this sound good or yuck (chocolatey, peanut buttery...)

I was trying to make buckeyes (chocolate covered peanut butter balls :yum ) but after adding the butter and vanilla and peanut butter I discovered i had not nearly enough powdered sugar to make them the consistency they needed to be. Instead of being able to roll them into balls that would keep their shape, it was the exact consistenct of icing. SO...I decided I'd make brownies and use the peanut butter icing to top them. So I made a new recipe for brownies out of the church cookbook, which i'd never made before. They are super thick. i made them in a 9 x 13" pan and had to cut them in half because they rose up to the size of a cake, despite how dense they are! So, I have thick chocolate-chunk (oh yeah, i added chocolate chips!) brownies, with peanut butter icing...but that's not all! I found some candy making stuff-wax & chocolate chips, and decided I should melt the chocolate on top of them, so I have chocolate chunk brownies, covered in a THICK layer of peanut butter icing, drizzled in a shell of chocolate. Whaddaya think? Am I nuts? should I just leave them as-is and be thankful i didn't burn them? :giggle Oh, and it's a good thing that tomorrow I have to take food to a woman from church who just had surgery , because there are about 40-50 brownies and heaven knows I'd eat 'em!! (do we have a "bloated" emoticon? ;) I don't even want to know how bad these are for me. :no

OK, so I didn't have chocolate chips, but I had a bag of "chocolate & peanut butter chips." Even better! so I melted them and drizzled on top. Ended up with more than 50...um, minus the one, two, three, "few" that "fell on the floor" IYKWIM. ;) :rolleyes :yum :giggle

I hope everybody tomoorow likes them (it's really a bunch of us meeting at the house of the lady who had surgery to make her dinner & fellowship.) Actually, if nobody likes them I won't be all that upset. ;)
