Maybe I am alone in this, but, well, OK....
My MIL is coming to visit next week on her way to another destination.
She is staying one night with us. A little while ago, she canned a bunch of tomato/spaghetti sauce and she is bringing a few quarts with her to give us.
So, she says "I will bringing sauce that I canned, so you don't have to worry about cooking dinner that night." ( :phew because I will be too exhausted from cleaning my entire house from top to bottom to pass inspection.....) Which is very nice and generous and all.
But then she says "All you will have to do is make pasta and a salad and some garlic bread, and dinner is done, because I am bringing the sauce. "

Considering the fact that my days of standing in front of a stove stirring a simmering pot of homemade spaghetti sauce are long, long gone, and I just open a can of Ragu organic when I need it....
Well, it seems like cooking dinner to me!! :shrug
What do y'all think?
