Does the "direct connect" thing drive anyone else batty or is it just me? If I hear one more beep.... Sure, it might take a whole 30 seconds to scroll through your address book, hit talk, and wait for the person to answer, but at least once they answer you don't have to listen to and subject everyone else in the vicinity to that annoying beep. :hissyfit

But of course, maybe it's just me. I have noise intolerance issues. :shrug

Dh has one for work and his buddies, I cringe at the "beep, beep" alert tone. He wanted me to get one, and I said NOPE!!! LOL

I hate beeps. DH has been rudely awakened from a deep sleep more than once because he went to bed before the timer (he sets it for the dryer and it doesn't shut off automatically) went off. I. Hate. Beeps.
