How do you fix your green beans? I buy them cut and frozen (and organic). What are some of your favorite ways to fix them that does not involve bacon grease? (Here in the South - or whatever WV is - that's the only way anyone ever fixes them.) :rolleyes

DH really likes green bean casserole, LOL.
I like to get the french cut kind, (frozen) and then cook them like halfway done, then saute them in olive oil and garlic w/ salt and pepper to taste.
That is pretty much it here.
If it is summer and we have way too many, I will make a three bean salad.

That sounds good! I buy the frozen. I would like to make them with tomatoes...but I have never tried, only had them in restaurants. :shrug

I have done canned ones with Italian dressing, now that you mention it mafiedler. I might try that with frozen ones too.

Butter and salt sounds good, too. :yum From what I can tell, simple is best with green beans!
