Before I use up scrap material around the house I was wondering if anyone has made one wets. Undies where they hold one wet. If so what kind of material did you use that was trimmest and could hold the one wet? I was thinking of making a one wet velcro'd diaper for my little Ec'er.

I used to make and sell them. I just used flannel and it worked great. They are also one size so fit from babyhood till undies.

Anyhoo, Irene makes and sells them too.

Ive only seen a picture of a one wet so Im guessing you use multiple layers of flannel on the soaker part that is sewn in? How does that wash? With all the layers I mean? I know it sounds silly to ask but this is my first time not using sposies and no one I know of uses cloth or anything like it. :) :shrug

For mine, it was usually just 2 layers of flannel. Sometimes I had an "inner" that was also 2 layers for a total of 4 layers but all the ones I have right now are 2 layers. Definitely ONLY one wet!
