So I have a recipe that I like, but I'm trying to up the good for quota so I thought you ladies could help me as I'm not much of a baker.

Morning Muffins

1/3 cup veg oil
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup mashed banana
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon

So...I was thinking raisins instead of chocolate chips.....or maybe pb chips for protien??
Can I switch the flour for mutli grain flour?
Any way to cut back on the sugar?
Can I just throw some flax seed in there?

I throw flax seed in lots of things. yum. I also usually replace whole wheat flour, but that sometimes gives things more 'chew', which can be good or bad, depending on how you feel.

You could use mini choc chips, so they 'go' further, and I would cut the chips at least in half myself. Or you could use dried cranberries. If you want to cut fat, you could take out or replace half of the oil for applesauce. Maybe try taking 1/2 out.
