1. call your church office & ask if there are members who are landscapers etc
2. call the big landscape co in your area - they'll have a lanscape architect on staff
3. friends & neighbors?
4. newspaper ads?
5. your town's business association?

check everyone out w/the BBB and ask who actually performs the work and how long they've been in business. they should have a portfolio of pics for you to look at as well as names and addys of recent clients

Amydoll...awesome advice!
The only other thing I can think of is if you know anyone who has a yard that you love, then ask them who they use if anyone.

oooh, something terraced. :rockon i think that the guys who do the bju lawns have their own business (as opposed to being work scholarship people). it's a pretty big thing, too -- they do all kinds of things, if i remember correctly . . .

you have to post pics when it's done.
