It has been driving me crazy that it is so bright in my dd's sleeping room, especially in the evenings. I think that might be part of why she has a hard time going to sleep. I was moping because I didn't think I could afford cloth for curtains, but then I had a lightbulb moment. I grabbed a dark-colored bedsheet, opened up the ends of where the top folds down, and threaded it onto the rod. Viola! A free curtain! Of course, two would be better, and hemming the bottom would be smart, but as it is, it does the job! :grin This may be an old idea, but it just came to me, so I'm excited. :rockon :grin

Isn't it great when we come up with free or cheap ideas that work well. :clap :tu

That's how I made DD's curtains too! I still haven't hemmed the bottoms yet, but it looks really nice if you gather them up on both sides and tie it up with yarn like a roman shade. :yes
