I made baked beans today, but after soaking the whole pound of white beans, I realized I only needed half of them. How long will the soaked beans last in the refrigerator - anyone know? Or, could I freeze them??? I've never had too many beans :mrgreen and have no idea what to do with them.

Of course, if you have any great bean recipes, I'm open to that, too!

TIA!

Cooked and soaked beans freeze very well! I almost always make a double batch of beans and freeze half.

You can freeze them soaked and then when you want to cook them they will cook up pretty quickly.
At least that is what Super baby Food, the book, says.

Great, that's what I was wondering. I'm popping them in the freezer now :tu
