Moccasin/Mukluk pattern

I'm wanting to make some of these. Is there an online pattern (free?) that is easy to follow? It's :shiver :scarf here atm and my toes are frozen!!

I have an issue of Interknits from this past winter that has a pattern for some rather elaborate mukluks. Fun fur cuffs, etc. :eek

I am sure there are great patterns on the internet once we all get looking though.

That looks interesting .. will have to look out some wool .... anyone know what the weight of a skien is? wool here is sold by the ball - 30g /1oz or larger sizes

The skeins they refer to are 4 oz. or about 100 g. worth. --about 190 yds. of yarn for a skein. I can't put that into meters right now--brain is broken.
