Diaper Decisions (http://www.diaperdecisions.com/pages/diaperdrive.php) is doing a diaper drive to benefit Miracle Diapers (http://www.miraclediapers.com)! Miracle Diapers gives free cloth diapering supplies to families in need.
They're asking any mom with a sewing machine to make fitted diapers from recycled materials (or new too). This would be a great way to clean out some fabric scraps or use up those cotton clothes that don't get worn anymore! I asked them if semi-fitted diapers were ok too, they said absolutely. (A semi-fitted is a fitted with no closures, so even a converted prefold would work)
I have a couple shirts in mind already :mrgreen I have a 80% cotton sweatshirt that would make good soakers, I know there's a pair of ratty jeans in there too..
