Sewing Kit

What do you have in your sewing kit? I am trying to get one together.

Hmmm...I'm sure I'll leave something out, but:

scrap fabric
good needles
good thread (cotton)
extra bobbins
good scissors (large & small)
pins & magnetic "pin cushion"
chalk marker
ruler (with sliding plastic piece)
"disappearing ink" marker (one that writes purple, and disappears after so long)
small bag, with lots of compartments, if you will be taking classes or traveling with your sewing gear

I'm sure there's more. I'm trying to picture my sewing cabinet/bag in my head! :lol

All that above and

Long flexible Measuring tape (usually up to 60")
Pinking sheers (makes the zig zag cut)
Hook & eyes (for repairs)
Assorted Buttons (collect the extra ones that come on clothing, that way if one falls off I can fix it)
Little scissors (for sniping thread)
Also very helpful is a needle threader if you're working with tiny needles
