I had this idea after reading "The Patchwork Coat" that I would take the children's baby clothes and momentos and make them into a quilt for each child with small swatches of cloth from family members. So far I dont have much, baby clothes, christmas stockings, a quiltblock with DS's footprint, and I thought maybe even I could make pockets to put different things in.

Does anyone else want to join me? This could be fun!

My grandmother taught me the basics of quilting when I was about ten, and os I think if I take that basic knowledge and apply it to this I could come out with pretty sweet little quilts. My grandmother's both made patchwork quilts for me by hand and I cherish those so much. :heart
