Making mama pads

I have a lot of scrap material from making ds some diapers. I know they are just the right size to use for mama pads. How do I do it though. Do I absolutely NEED a serger? Any help would be great.

No, you dont need a serger. You can turn the wrong sides out and stitch leaving a small hole. Then turn it back right side out and zigzag around the edges.
