I've noticed it is more frequent now. I have been just correcting her, telling her that she needs to tell the truth. But she will now lie to me several times in a day! Before GBD, lying in my house was cause for 3 spankings! :td So what can I do? Here's an example: dd sits on the dog's back (which she has been told not to do in the past) so I ask her to come here. "Please don't sit on the dog" "I wasn't." "Oh, you weren't just sitting on the dog?" "No. I didn't do it mom. Matthew sat on the dog today, but I didn't." "DD, I saw you sit on the dog. Please go take a break until you are ready to tell mommy the truth." She finally fessed up, but will turn around and do it again. I've talked to her about how it can make people sad if she lies. She says she won't do it again and is really sorry. The other dc are getting frustrated, as she lies to them too... They are starting to call her "liar" which is another issue... Help or advice would be great! :heart
