I just wanted to share what I made today. I do not carry a "diaper bag" I use a large size purse. I do not like just throwing my cloth diapers in there so I came up with this idea.

This is the back of the bag w/pockets for wipes and plastic bags for dirty ones.

I like that! What a great idea :tu I use my old school back pack as a day bag and I might make myself one of those :grin

OH yea! I forgot to mention that the best part was is that I found that great fabric for .60 in the clearance bin at Wal-mart. :tu I didn't even use all of it so it was CHEEEAP to make :grin

You could even make the part that hold the dirty diapers with a vinyl lining. Walmart carries it and at regular fabric stores you can get it in many different weights and thicknesses. You don't even have to use a special needle either, as long as the vinyl isn't too thick. That way your bag (or a portion of it) is waterproof. The vinyl comes on a big roll and isn't that expensive. Have fun sewing! :D
