I made gumbo tonight and used fresh jalepenos, so my hands were covered in seeds and juice. I've washed thoroughly in hot soapy water several times, but I'm still afraid...
How long until I can safely take my contacts out? Any ideas? I am really fearing getting jalepeno residue in my eyes, I remember it happening to my dad once and it was AWFUL. Does anyone know any remedy-type things to get the capsaicin off?
I know I should have worn gloves, but I forgot to get them at the store. :shifty
