I know sometimes people go on the pill for irregular periods, but I was wondering if there is anything natural that can be used?

Also, do you know if diet has anything to do with periods being regular?

yes, there are herbs you can take to bring on a period, or regulate periods, according to my naturopath, but I don't know what they are. Try reading "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" for the Nutrition piece. There's a book in the LLL library called "Fertility, Cycles and Nutrition" by Shannon something Irish sounding last name. Definitely if you don't have enough protein in your diet or calories overall, you won't be getting your cycle.

Both those books are great resources. The book by Shannon has other natural suggestions for cycles, some things as simple as sleeping in a *dark* room at night. I don't know if a natural wild yam/progesterone cream may help as well. Those books should have good information for you.

I was thinking the progesterone/wild yam might work too...
