AHHHH Flu help!!

MY mom is coming to visit on monday and came down with the flu last night. We're making reservations at a near by hotel for her to stay at till she is completely better. How long would you keep someone away from your 4 week old if they had the flu????

at least a couple of week probably....you can also get some oscillococcnium a homeopathic remedy to take for yourself and you could probably put a few pills in your babe's mouth..if you don't have any options as far as visit goes. breastmilk will be a def. benefit too.

YEa, she's flying across the ocean to visit so canceling isn't really an option. The whole point of the visit to was to help me readjust to dh going back to work and learning how to cope with 2 little ones and pumping. Everything i've read said she's contagious for one week. Our dr (ND) says that it's not a big deal if she visits as long as she doesnn't talk over/breath on ds... I certainly hope none of us get sick!
