chicken pox question

My 4 yr. old and 10 mo. old have come down with the chicken pox. They haven't been around anyone that I know of that had them. My sister thinks they must have gotten them from her 1 yr. old who received the vaccination about 1 month ago. Is this possible?? My kids haven't had the vax and my oldest had them when she was 1.

the chicken pox vaccine is a live vaccine, so they could have gotten it from a recently vaccinated playmate. Kinda weird your oldest got it again, isn't it?

my oldest has the pox too. haven't seen anything on my other two as of yet. :shrug We're not sure where he got it from...probably playschool, where there is one other confirmed case. However, we're not sure which child shared it, as both my son and the other girl developed spots the same day. :scratch It could possibly be a vaccination thing, but they are contagious for a stretch before they show symptoms.
