I need books or websites to give me good info on starting a veggie garden. We hope to plant the following and I have no idea where to start:

carrots
lettuce
spinach
corn
bell peppers
pumpkins
squash
zucchini

Do you know what zone you are in?

Okay, that's a good place to start! :hug

You can find out what zone you are in here:
http://www.usna.usda.gov/Hardzone/ushzmap.html

Where you are will make a big difference in when you plant various things in your garden. For example, we're harvesting kohl rabi right now. We planted it in December along with our carrotts, peas and green beans. Back home in Missouri, you don't go planting that stuff in December. :giggle
