My mom and I are going to make a slipcover for our couch tonight. Anyone have any ideas or tips? We are using two sheets and I did find some instructions at http://www.inoutdecor.com/Slipcovers/ChairProject.htm. Well, wish us luck!

We do have it done. We (I should say my mom) sewed two king size sheets together, sewed a couple seams where we wanted to tuck it in then twisted the tails around and stuck them in between the arm and the cushion at each end. We need it to be really simple to make, take off, wash and put back on. We got the couch for $35 and even though it is in good condition it was kinda ugly. Also, my toddler and I are both known for spilling and I want to be able to just toss it in the wash.
