Scrapping question...

Someone help me figure this out! I really, really want to be able to stitch between the patterned blocks on the page below....

But I can't seem to get the tension right! :banghead Fortunately, I didn't try it on my finished page to begin with :giggle Otherwise, I would've gotten a huge tangled mess for my efforts. Anyone have experience with stiching cardstock? How'd you figure it out?? :P~

I've never stitched paper together either, but what about "stitching" only without thread. . .(that would make the holes). . . then sewing the thread through your holes in your paper. Sounds like a lot of work, though. :/
