I am excited and nervous about giving these tommorrow.I really dont like the dolls shoulders.But for a novice they are okay..

Each chose their dolls hair colour but have not seen them .Bud [13 ]chose pink hair for her doll.
Grace [9] chose blonde hair for her doll and Nate chose brown hair for his doll.They are small about 12 inches long.Im not happy with Nates dolls outfit.The fleece is a little bulky but time is running out so he will have to do.I will let you know what they name their dolls!

I made a Waldorf-type doll with a kit for my ds's birthday (Jan 9) and it was so fun! I still need to make him clothes, though! I'll try to post a pic when he's done.... ;)

I made my daughter a doll out of an old t-shirt. We call it blair witch baby. It's very scary looking, yet the kids still love it :laughtears
Someday I'll buy a pattern and actually attempt to make something as beautiful as those babies =)

The blonde doll has a name.DD chose to call her mistletoe.I like it.I stayed up late last night and knitted the boy doll dome brown overalls and a greenish sweater and hat.I am much happier with how he looks now.
