For those who don't know, a UFO is an unfinished object! ;)

My current UFOs:

I am making a lace baby blanket for my brother and his wife, they are expecting their first baby! :woohoo

I am also knitting a raglan sweater top down in the round for my middle dd. I am using three colors, and making a flower pattern on it. I think I spend more time untwisting yarn than actually knitting. :rolleyes

I'm in the process of knitting a blanket for my new baby (it's my first blanket, so I hope it gets done in time :nails )

Also, I am knitting a blue newborn hat in case it's a boy (I've already made a pink one.... I wanted one of each to be prepared :) )

I also was hoping to do a hat for my aunt for Christmas, but I guess I should really get that started, huh? :O

I think I'm a little over-ambitious (especially considering I'm still a beginner and pretty slow) :shrug

Actually on the needles...well..lots of them, so many in fact I'll try to remember them all...

1. Shawl for sis#5 that needs a few more rows and must be done by Christmas
2. Sweater/Jacket for Morgan that should have been done a looooong time ago, still sitting at the end of the sleeves, only have like 2" or so to finish the darned thing.
3. Several sweaters/shirts for me that have been languishing for many many months.
4. Shawl again for me that's been languishing for a few months

I also have a poncho that I have yet to start that needs to be done for Christmas for my mom...<sigh>..I just don't wanna do it

Hugs,
tammy

Have any of you knitted a wool soaker/diaper cover/nappy pants? I started a thread on it . . . .

I have not knitted that, but you can google it. Include the words Knitting Pattern with the item that you want to knit, and it's out there somewhere waiting to be found! :type

Ooh, I have a lot :shifty

I posted a pic of my latest one on my blog:
http://hippiemommy.com/index.php/blog/2005/12/17/movin_movin_movin

Its a scarf that's worked the long way instead of the short way.

Also

- A wool diaper cover (http://www.birdcrossstitch.com/soakers/pattern/) for dd
- A sweater for dd
- Something else that I can't remember :giggle A kerchief (for my head), I think...

I love doing cables without a needle! It is really no harder than doing cables with the needle, you just learn the trick. I needed to learn it for an aran sweater with a lot of traveling stitches and horseshoe cables... if I had used the cable needle for that one, I would have taken months instead of weeks. There is a video floating around somewhere on the web about how to do those. I'll post if I find it. :mrgreen

I'm practicing on a long pink scarf, which I will never use, because I live in a hot climate, and I hate pink. :) But I don't let little details like those interrupt my knitting.

Here's the video:
